Full, part time and per diem positions available.
Demonstrates a knowledge of medications and their side effects. Has the skills and judgment necessary to implement the medical plan of care including nursing assessment, interventions, and procedures needed to ensure the highest level of functioning for each resident.
Administers prescribed medications and procedures utilizing a variety of medical equipment when necessary. Supervises CNAs on assigned hall. Monitors medical and emotional stability of residents and reports changes. Collects specimens for analysis.
Monitors dining rooms during resident meals. Takes and records resident vital signs.
Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care. Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the residents. Assists in admission of new residents. Charts on any changes in resident conditions, and other duties as assigned for care of the residents.
Prior rehab experience helpful. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Idaho LPN License, CPR certification. Must be familiar with medications and their side effects. Must have good assessment skills and be able to work well with the geriatric population.
