We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Quality & Licensure.





Coordinates patient safety, regulatory surveys, infection control and assists with Peer Review activites. 


The Director of Quality Improvement supports the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving medical management processes throughout the hospital through coordinating and engaging in activities to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices and resolve deficiencies.  The Director monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.  Collects, analyzes and reports on a variety of data to assess the quality and appropriateness of care and treatment of patients and to provide oversight in the allocation and utilization of program resources.




Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Three years of Nursing experience in nursing or healthcare required.  Experience in performing oversight activities or quality assurance required.  Computer experience should include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at the intermediate level, at a minimum.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail required.  Must have a track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail, and reflects well on the organization.  Must be flexible and able to adapt to frequently changing standards and priorities.


Knowledge of program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.  Demonstrated leadership skills and skills in critical thinking and reading are essential.   Ability to analyze clinical and financial aspects of specific programs.  Should demonstrate project management skills.  Ability to bring disparate individuals and interests into alignment in order to achieve program goals.
