Per-diem position available.


Provides clinical dietetic services to patients of all ages. Assists in administrative duties and supervision of personnel as directed. Provides nutrition education in in-patient and out-patient settings, as well as, continual education to staff and peers. 


Conducts all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of patients, visitors, families, and fellow employees.


Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department's ability to meet its goals and objectives.


Assists in the development of new programs related to nutrition education.


Collaborates with the medical staff regularly as new programs are being developed.


Devises, and functions as facilitator, for new nutrition education programs.


Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy work environment by modeling the desired behaviors and encouraging those in others.


Demonstrates the ability to cope with and manage change, as well as help others to do the same.


Maintains notes in patient's medical record.


Attends stand up and discharge planning rounds on assigned areas and is regularly in contact with unit supervisors and nursing staff to enhance patient nutritional care.


Visits patients regularly in assigned work area to determine adequacy and appropriateness of both diet and oral intake.


Accrues appropriate number of CPEUs to maintain active registration through the CDR.


Assures department delivers quality services to patients in accordance with applicable ploicies, procedures, and professional standards.


Ensures Quality Improvement program meets Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirement standards as evidenced by review.


Effectively communicates departmental, organization, and industry information to staff.


Refers questions of policy to the director.



Must be a Registered Dietitian with the State of Idaho. 


Must be detail oriented and able to complete job duties in an accurate and timely manner.


Must demonstrate professional demeanor at all times.


Must serve as an essential part of interdisciplinary teams.


Must be able to effectively communicate with people in order to educate at all levels.
