Full time position.


The Clinic Manager has the responsibility for following clinic policy in the day to day operation of the facility and prior authorizations for the clinic. Responsibilities include personnel, patient care, and inventory management. The Clinic Manager reports directly to the Director of PSO.


  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate the hospital’s mission, vision, and values, as well as departmental goals, to all staff.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
  • Defines performance objectives for the department and assesses the level of competence of staff in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy work environment by modeling the desired behaviors and encouraging those in others.
  • Demonstrates the ability to embrace and manage change, as well as help others do the same.
  • Collaborates with other departments to create systems, solve problems, and resolve ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and patient care delivery.
  • Demonstrates fiscal accountability for department resources and the ability to achieve outcomes within allocated resources.
  • Incorporates quality improvement data and/or patient satisfaction data into departmental goals.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and/or other department functions.
  • Attains all agreed goals and objectives within specified time frames as part of the organization’s overall mission.
  • Occasional after hours and weekend work to perform tasks that cannot be done during business hours.
  • Facilitates communication between patients and staff.
  • Assures the effective participation of the staff in needs determination and establishes staff support for the clinic.
  • Coordinates staff hiring, training, scheduling and progressive discipline.
  • Holds monthly staff meetings.
  • Oversees patient scheduling and patient flow and assures timely service for patients presenting to the clinic.
  • Plans for clinic's cleaning and maintenance to provide a pristine appearance in the clinic.
  • Maintains an effective patient chart filing system.
  • Serves as a liaison to other hospital departments, when appropriate, to assure support for the health care needs of the clinic patients.
  • Prepares reports as required by the Administrator.






  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management preferred.
  • 5 years experience in supervision of employees, directing of professionals, and management of all aspects of an office environment. Health environment preferred.
  • Current BLS
  • The Clinic Manager is responsible for and has the authority to accomplish the duties set forth. The Clinic Manager may delegate portions of these responsibilities, but no portion of accountability for accountability for results may be delegated or relinquished.
  • Able to utilize and navigate the clinic's computer based programs.
