    Full Time and Part Time Registered Nurse positions available.


    Direct patient care enforcing the mission statement of the Bingham Memorial Hospital. Primary patient care areas of OB to include: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Nursery. Purpose of the job is to give quality patient care with true compassion in all patient care areas of the hospital using communication methods which positively embrace our customer to achieve exemplary scores in all areas of customer satisfaction.


    The primary responsibilities of the Regtistered Nurse are:

    • Must be able to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs for the laboring patient. Including preterm labor as well as some high risk patients.
    • Triage outpatients to rule out labor as a Qualified Medical Screening Examiner.
    • Assist physician during delivery, examination, and surgical procedures of the laboring patient.
    • Registered Nurse must be able to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs for the postpartum and gynecological patient.
    • Must be able to assess, plan and evaluate patient care needs for the newborn and neonatal patient, including but not limited to supplemental oxygen administration, IV care, and assist with feeding(breast, bottle, or gavage)
    • Registered Nurse will administer prescribed IV and oral medications as well as monitor vital signs. Record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation.
    • Follow hospital policies and procedures
    • Instruct and educate patient and family throughout hospital stay and provide age and culturally appropriate care.
    • Able to serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well managed patient care.


    Minimum Qualifications for Registered Nurse:

    • Idaho Registered Nursing license with prior OB/Labor and Delivery experience.
    • BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications.
    • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50lbs.
    • Must be willing to facilitate a team atmosphere in order to create a good working environment including but not limited to, helping in other departments, getting along with others, and mentoring new staff and students.
    • Must be reliable and on time for scheduled shifts
    • Participate in quality improvement goals and ongoing education.
    • One year nursing experience.  Prefer labor and delivery, nursery, or postpartum experience.
